ebay: Nismo Show or Display #500: Did Not Sell at $23,000

I put the #500 Nismo R32 Skyline GT-R on ebay a couple of weeks ago on a 10 day auction to see how the market looked in the US. I set the auction with a high reserve, #500 is my car, and it would take a bit of persuasion for me to actually sell it.

However, ebay is pretty good advertising, gets worldwide attention, and would give me an idea of what someone in the US was willing to pay for a Nismo. The auction itself had 9732 views, 18 bids, topping out at $23,000. $23,000 is really not even close to what I would let the car go for, but I have had several people contact me with questions about the reserve. I will eventually relist it, but probably sometime after the New Year.
