| Billet transfer case for Nissan Skyline GT-R from Kiwi CNC |
New week, new billet parts for the Nissan Skyline GT-R. The billet transfercase from Kiwi CNC is the part you didn’t think you needed until now. Normally, you won’t break one of these. I’ve never broken one of these. I have never came close to breaking one, but I have seen them break. Only really powerful drag cars, but like anything if it can be broken someone will break it. The 2000 hp cars are breaking them.
I think if I were doing it, I might add some capacity to it too. If you are cruising, the transfer often gets hot, because it has a small amount of fluid in it. You always have some differences in speed, and that causes some friction. If you have a hot shifter in your Nissan Skyline GT-R, this is often the cause.
I thought it might be cool, to put the Infiniti FX35,G35, etc electronic clutch in a R32/R33 transfer. Get rid of the ATTESA pump, do it all electronically.
