The legacy of the Skyline GT-R runs deep, but the R33 is very different to the R32, close but not the same as the R34. The R33 has a distinct and unique character as a GT-R. The Built By Legends MINE’S R33 transcends the typical JDM Tuner car mindset, delivering razor sharp response, high speed performance and stability, all without sacrificing everyday drivability. Carefully restored and modified with attention to detail, the end result is a true restomod that comes with the prestige of ownership.

Chassis restoration and reinforcement is done by Kozo Yoshida of Garage Yoshida (Nara, Japan) famously known for his “No Compromise” restoration work on Skyline GT-Rs. Kozo works closely with MINE’S restoring their iconic demo cars including the Legendary MINE’S R34 demo car. At Garage Yoshida, Built By Legends Skylines are completely teared down to its bare chassis, first to be fully measured by a 3D body alignment tester on a Celette jig, then undergoes wet blast, spot welding, and other reinforcements depending on engine power. Fresh 5 layer paint with integrated MINE’S side stripes (Optional), built back with new parts or renewed powder coated parts all around everything down to a single bolt.
